About this design

With the artwork and patterns created exclusively for us here at Solsse The Label, the designs are based on the beautiful locations that inspire our adventures. 

The Nella Rug was inspired by the incredible love story that the historic Paronella Park was built upon. It took Jose 6 years to build the Paronella Castle for his wife Margarita, by hand, back in the early..... (/). Today it's a tourist attraction, but throguhout local history, it has played its part as a Museum, a  projection room and theatre, and a place to hold functions and weddings. With beautiful tea gardens, a meadow situated near the creek, and an incredible water fountain at the front of the ruins, it is no wonder that this location still draws people in with its charm and love story that has stood the test of time. 

This design focused on the lilly pad filled fountain at the front of the ruins. Such a tranquil sight, we wanted to bring that sense of relaxation into this artwork, to really highlight the unique feel that Paronella Park encompasses. 

About this rug

Our 100% Recycled Cotton Rugs are created with Jacquard Weave technology, giving them a high quality finish, and long life. Our woven blankets are thick and luxey, with the weave technique making the back side of the blanket just as beautiful as the front. The edges are finished with matching cotton tassels on all 4 sides, and sighting our Solsse label in the corner, means that you are buying quality and luxury in a blanket. 

The designs have been created with the modern lifestyle and family in mind, and are multi-purpose and extremely versatile, and can be used to enjoy a picnic in the park, to keep the sand at bay on a visit to the beach, and will keep you warm toasting marshmallows around a camp fire. These rugs are equally purposeful when styled indoors, and are perfect for use as a couch throw or bed spread.
